A little bit about me.
Hi, I’m Rachel. I developed a passion for Pilates a few years ago. Having worked in the corporate world for over 15 years, I noticed how poor my posture was getting. I knew that if I didn’t start to counter it soon, it would effect how I move later on in life. Over time with Pilates, I was able to see an improvement on this along with a new found strength in my body. It is this change that I want to help others find in their own body too, whether it be just part of their weekly exercise routine, pre or post natal or injury recovery.
I currently teach Reformer Pilate classes in Wollongong at The Pilates Workshop along with running semi private & group classes at Cote Studios.
What I love about Pilates.
I initially fell in love with Pilates as I saw it as my “me-time”. It is one of the only activities where I can successfully switch my brain off from all the noise. I am able to focus on something that makes me feel good, so it‘s great for not only my physical health but also mental health.
I also love that it is a low impact sport that at the same time increases my strength, flexibility, balance & posture.
